Draco Malfoy is the son of Lucius Malfoy (a former follower of Voldemort), and Harry's enemy. He is extremely jealous of the attention Harry gets and strives to mock him every chance he gets. Draco comes from a wealthy family, and likes to tease Ron because his family is rather poor. He dislikes Hermione as well because of the fact that she wasn't born into a wizarding family. He calls her "Mudblood" which is a degrading remark about a witch's or wizard's origin.
